What it is

Transfer LED, in short

It is a louvre-type transparent LED with LED bars arranged at regular intervals. The gaps between the bars let light, wind and sightlines pass straight through.

Invisible LED is the premium option, perforating the PCB to push transparency higher. Transfer LED is transparent in the same sense, but lighter, faster to install and less than half the cost. That is why it suits concert, musical and event rental more than permanent store installations.

Structure and installation, honestly

Strengths

Light and quick to install, excellent airflow, sensible cost. Strong on curved and high-level installs and on backlit staging.

Weaknesses (stated plainly)

The framework is visible from behind, so the rear view is less tidy. It therefore suits front-facing staging seen by the audience; where the rear is exposed (360-degree viewing and the like), we recommend Invisible or another configuration.
